The Daewoo badged clone of the Vauxhall Astra Belmont.

Pffft...you can’t fool me. Those clearly aren’t Imprezas, there is a serious lack of vape cloud.

Why the sedan and not the hatch or wagon? The Astra/Kadett E was a good looking car in wagon or hatch form, the sedan was always the odd one out (as with most compact based sedans).

My step-father chose it because it was cheap.

Daewoo did the Nexia in 5 door hatchback and 4 door saloon.

I still remember the Nexia hitting Germany in the early 90s. It was quite popular in Eastern Germany.

We got the Nexia here about the same time as the Espero and the Nu bira. All three were sales flops here.

Then Daewoo became Chevy, then that tan ked.

I somehow like the Espero though. Probably shit to drive and own, but the look resembles a Citroën Xantia.
